Sod Installation:
We do not grow sod, but we can have it delivered to the job site and install it. There are several places in our area to get sod, usually dealing with the Centipede variety, that provide a high quality lawn that is completely installed in a few days, depending on the amount, and is fully grown in within a few months. Sod usually comes in 50 sq-yd. pallets, but occasionally, if the job is big enough, we install sod in rolls.
Brick Pavers:
Brick walkways are a new service that we have just begun providing within the last two years. A brick walkway can add a touch of class to the front of a house, a patio, or anywhere you may currently have a concrete walkway. They have a very firm foundation, usually starting down about ten inches! The foundation consists of wash rock at the bottom, with concrete sand above. A frame is constructed to hold the curves or corners of the walk, and the bricks, usually 8"x 4"x 2", lie on top of the sand. Since the bricks are rectangular and most walkways will call for curves, holes are left in the primary construction and are filled with bricks that are cut to fill in the gaps. Finally, more sand is thrown on top and swept around to settle in between bricks for a tighter fit.
